Brand + Allen Architects, Inc has just completed the successful negotiation of a lease at 601 California using the professional services of The Space Place. Dan Mihalovich was extremely thorough in assisting us through all the steps involved in the relocation of our offices. Even though we had heard of the excess office space on the market, finding the right space and the right deal is still very difficult. Although, as architects, we understand many of the aspects of programming and creative use of space, The Space Place helped us through the complexities of the process.
We were first provided with an extensive overview of the market with a focus on the areas of the city we desired. Since The Space Place did not represent any landlords in the San Francisco market, we never worried we were being shown space that provided any benefit to our broker instead of us. Although we started the relocation process early, Dan always kept us on track of our ultimate deadline. Even after focusing on our top choice of location, we continued to be advised on alternative locations until the end in case of any surprises in our negotiations.
During the negotiation process Dan was thorough and tough in pushing to see that even points that we might have thought insignificant were covered. We had complete confidence by the end of the process that the complicated lease we were signing had been tailored to our best interest as much as possible.
